A presentation evening will be held tonight(Saturday) in Upperchurch Hall at 9pm where players on our adult teams who won competitions in the past 18 months will receive their medals. Guest Ryan will be Peter Ryan and all are welcome to attend.
FOOTBALL RULES WORKSHOP
A workshop explaining the new football rules for 2025 will be held this Wednesday(26th) at 7:30pm in the Drombane GAA clubhouse. It will consist of an explanation of the rules by a referee followed by a tactical/coaching adaptation session from an intercounty coach. This workshop is open to all players, coaches, selectors and supporters in the parish interested in understanding and adapting to the new rules.
IRELAND LIGHTS UP
Thanks to all who took part in Ireland Lights Up throughout January & February. It was great to see so many getting active each week. Thanks also to Sinead Corcoran and all who helped organise the events.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership for adults & juveniles for 2025 can be paid either online on www.upperchurchdrombanegaa.ie or via club registrar Paul Shanahan. Adult rates are unchanged on 2024 levels while there have been some small increases in juvenile rates. It is especially important for players to have membership paid before games start for insurance purposes.
INTERCOUNTY FOOTBALL
Best of luck to Conor Fahey and the Tipperary senior footballers in their NFL game v London today(Saturday) at 5pm in Semple Stadium. The game will be followed by the Tipperary v Cork NHL clash at 7:30pm.
GAELTACHT SCHOLARSHIP
Applications for this year's Munster GAA Gaeltacht scholarship are open. There is one scholarship to be won by a teenager in Tipperary with all fees paid. To apply a short video should be sent to Munster GAA. Deadline is next Wednesday 26th.
