MID JUNIOR HURLING LEAGUE
Both our junior A and junior B sides exited the leagues at the semi final stages over the past couple of weeks. The junior A team were defeated by Moycarkey-Borris in the division 1 semi last Friday in Littleton, while the junior B's had a narrow loss to Boherlahan in the division 3 semi final a week earlier. Focus will now turn to the mid championships which start later in the summer.

TIPPERARY INTERCOUNTY TEAMS
Congratulations to Paddy Phelan & the Tipperary Under 20 hurlers who put on a great display last weekend in winning the All Ireland final against Kilkenny in Nowlan Park. Well done to Conor Fahey also who put in a battling performance for the Tipperary senior footballers in their defeat to Leitrim in last weekends Tailteann Cup.

ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC
Upperchurch Drombane GAA will hold their 23rd Annual Golf Classic on Friday 11th & Saturday 12th of July in Ballykisteen Golf Club. The club would like to extend its sympathies to the family & friends of Joe Brennan who died during the past week. Joe was our local Garda for a large number of years stationed in Shevry and did a lot of work in the community. On the GAA front he had a spell as chairman of our juvenile club and was also involved with training a number of underage teams. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h'anam dílis.

GRAVEYARD MASSES

The first graveyard mass of this year will be held in Kilvalure Graveyard next Monday June 9th at 7:30pm. In the event of poor weather the mass will move to Drombane Church. Further graveyard masses will take place in Templebeg Graveyard on Thursday June 19th at 7:30pm and in Upperchurch Graveyard on Friday July 11th at 7:30pm.
