SENIOR FOOTBALL

What has been a very successful year for the club took another step forward as we toppled the reigning county champions Loughmore-Castleiney last Sunday to reach our first ever senior county final. Our performance was filled with hunger, tenacity and no shortage of skill. As expected the game was keenly contested and we slightly got the better of the first half taking a 8 points to 6 lead into half time. The second half saw us maintain our margin and when Conor Fahey finished off a fine move to the net midway through the half it seemed as if we would cruise to an easy victory from there. However Loughmore showed the fight which has won them so many titles and brought themselves back into the game. Indeed when they cut our advantage to a single point with 5 minutes left it seemed as if they would win out. However we maintained our discipline well and kept them at bay to win by 1-12 to 1-11. This sets up a final showdown against Clonmel Commercials on Sunday 16th in Semple Stadium. The players have done themselves and the club proud by getting this far. Just one more step to go now!!

SENIOR HURLING

Sunday sees the club have the chance to make even more history and reach the final of the county senior hurling. Kilruane MacDonaghs await us in Sunday's semi final with a 2pm throw-in at Semple Stadium. The second semi final between Kiladangan & Drom Inch will follow at 3:45pm. Best of luck to players, management & backroom as we look to have a team from the parish in the county senior hurling final for the first time since 1894. Tickets for the game are on sale at https://embed.futureticketing.ie/c/tipperary-gaa/ and will also be available for purchase in Semple Stadium on Sunday also. If you can't attend the game it will be streamed live by Tipperary GAA on https://page.inplayer.com/TipperaryGAA/ for a charge of €10.

JUNIOR HURLING

Best of luck to the junior A hurlers in the county semi final against Moyle Rovers tomorrow(Saturday) at 2pm in Boherlahan. Hopefully they can build on the fine performances so far and reach the title decider. JUNIOR FOOTBALL

Hard luck to our junior footballers who were defeated by Boherlahan Dualla in the mid final last weekend on a score of 1-12 to 0-6. The season is not over yet though as a county quarter final still awaits them

UNDER 15 HURLING

Best of luck to the under 15 hurlers who face Drom & Inch in the mid final tomorrow(Saturday) at 11am in the Outside Field, Thurles
