SENIOR HURLING

The senior hurlers have their first competitive game of the year this Thursday(St Patricks Day) when they face Toomevara in round 1 of the county hurling league. Throw in is at 11am in Toomevara.

JUNIOR HURLING

The junior hurlers also are in league action this Thursday. They face Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams in Drombane with a 1:30pm throw in time. Best of luck to both teams.

FRESHER'S HURLING

Well done to Luke Shanahan who was on the UL freshers team that claimed the Higher Education Division 1 All Ireland title last week.

MID DRAWS

The draws were made for various mid championships last week. In the Cahill Cup we face Drom-Inch in round 1 on April 6th. In mid senior hurling we will face Thurles Sarsfields in the quarters finals while in senior football we are drawn against JK Brackens in rd 1. In the mid Junior A hurling championship we are in group 2 along with Holycross/Ballycahill & JK Brackens.

GORTAHOOLA RACQUETBALL FUNDRAISING WALK

Gortahoola Racquetball Club will host a 5k Night Walk as their main fundraiser this year. They will be walking from the Racquetball Alley in Gortahoola to the Knockalough Lookout Point and back. The walk will begin at 7.30 pm on Friday March 18th. Please come and be in with a chance to win one of the prizes.
