SENIOR HURLING
Our senior hurlers bowed out of the mid championship at the hands of Loughmore-Castleiney last Saturday evening. After 20 minutes we found ourselves 6 points adrift but battled back to take the lead early in the second half. 2 goals for Loughmore in the space of 5 minutes saw them stretch into a 10 point lead which we were able to reduce to 5 partly due to a goal from a penalty from Paul Ryan. But the remainder of the game belonged to Loughmore as they tagged on a further 6 points without reply leaving a final scoreline of 2-23 to 1-15. The defeat also ends our interest in this years county championship. Our semi final of the county challenge cup vs Holycross has been brought forward to next Wed July 6th at 7:30pm in Drombane.

JUNIOR HURLING
The junior hurlers will hope to continue their good start to the mid championship when they face Moycarkey-Borris next Saturday night at 7:30pm in Drombane

JUNIOR FOOTBALL
The mid junior B football championship commenced last Wednesday with a 1-7 to 0-10 draw against Moyne/Templetouhy

MINOR HURLING
The minor hurling championship begins on Wednesday 13th July with a clash against Drom & Inch. Throw in is at 7:30pm in Drombane

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE GAA GOLF CLASSIC
The annual golf classic will be held on Thursday 14th & Friday 15th July in Dundrum Golf Club, Tipperary. A team of 4 costs €200 and this also includes a BBQ and 3 course meal. Anyone interested in playing please contact Richard Ryan on 0862676793

FUNDRAISING NIGHT AT THE DOGS
Some early notice that the club will hold a fundraising night at Thurles Greyhound Stadium on Saturday September 17th. Further details closer to the date.

JUNE TIPPERARY GAA DRAW
The June edition of the Tipperary GAA draw was held last Friday night in Lisvernane. Congratulations to Paddy Gleeson, Mill Road Thurles who was one of the €500 winners.
