MOHER HILL 7K FOR IMNDA

Each Christmas we hold the Moher Hill 7km run/walk with proceeds going to a nominated charity. For 2021 all funds raised will benefit the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association who are doing fantastic work for those affected by this condition around the country. The event will start at 12 noon on Tuesday December 28th at Upperchurch Community Centre and follow a challenging 7km loop around Moher Hill. Feel free to either run or walk the course.

UNDER 21 HURLING

Best of luck to the under 21 hurlers who face Gortnahoe-Glengoole in the mid semi final this Sunday(19th) at 1:30pm in Boherlahan. Tickets for the game can be bought at: https://embed.futureticketing.ie/c/mid-tipp-gaa/ Adults are €6 while Under 16's are free and don't need a ticket.

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE STORYTELLING SERIES

The new series of Upperchurch Drombane Storytelling continued this past Wednesday with Stephen Gleeson interviewing Maura Armstrong and her children PJ and Martina. It and all other previous interviews can be seen at https://churchcamlive.ie/upperchurchdrombane-parish/. This week Maura chatted about her wonderful memories of her early years, as well as reflecting on her interests and love of walking and running, her time competing in 25 Mini Marathons and her friendship with Sonia O Sullivan among many other things. Another episode is out next Wednesday.
