UNDER 21 FOOTBALL

Best of luck to our under 21 footballers who face Ballina in the county final tomorrow(Saturday). It's well over 6 months since the semi final win over Mullinahone but the hunger is there to claim the trophy for the 3rd time in 6 years. Throw in is at 2:30pm and, if mobile coverage allows, we hope to stream the game live on our facebook page.

TOUR DE PARISH '21

This weekend we are hosting our Tour De Parish fundraiser. We are encouraging people to run, walk or cycle a cumulative distance of 3,500km. Simply text your distance to 087-9665385 & donate on www.gofundme.com/tour-de-parish-21 or via envelopes at Ryan's Shop or Drombane Creamery. We have 7 dedicated looped routes, ranging from 3km to 42km, which you can complete or you can choose your own. SENIOR HURLING

The senior hurlers will hope to follow up their opening win in the county league over Drom/Inch with a similar result against Clonoulty/Rossmore. Throw in is at 12pm in Clonoulty on Sunday and the game will be available to watch live on our facebook page.

JUNIOR HURLING

Our junior hurlers continued their 100% start to the mid league with victory over Boherlahan Dualla. A strong first half saw us take a 13 point lead into the break but it was Boherlahan who responded well at the resumption with the aid of 3 quick goals. However that kicked us into life and from there on it was one way as we outscored Boherlahan 13 points to 4 and win on a scoreline of 3-27 to 3-15. Next game is on weekend July 2nd/4th against Moyne/Templetouhy in Templetouhy.

TIPPERARY MINOR HURLING PANEL

Congratulations to Paddy Phelan & Sean Ryan who have been named on the Tipperary minor hurling panel for this years championship

SENIOR HURLING & FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP DRAWS

The draws for the 2021 county senior hurling & football championships were made live on Tipp FM last Monday night. We have been drawn in group 1 in both codes.

Hurling - Group 1: Thurles Sarsfields, Drom/Inch, Upperchurch/Drombane, Eire Og Annacarty

Football - Group 1: Moyle Rovers, Cahir, Aherlow & Upperchurch-Drombane

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE GAA GOLF CLASSIC 2021

Our annual golf classic this year will be held on July 16th & 17th at the new venue of Ballykisteen Golf Club. Team of four costs €200 which includes a meal afterwards and refreshments during the round. Some great prizes will be on offer. Further details on these to come.
