Here is a roundup of how the county SHC looks after the weekends games. Our group game v Drom & Inch is the only fixture still to be played. A win or draw in that will see us qualify. A defeat will see Drom qualify.
12 teams qualify from the group stage for the final 16 of the county championship(i.e. the top 2 from each of the roinn 1 groups and the top team from the roinn 2 groups). They are joined by the 4 divisional winners. The roinn 2 winners are also promoted to roinn 1 for next year. The divisional winners play the roinn 2 winners in open draw and the winners from this play the roinn 1 runners up in the preliminary quarter finals. The roinn 1 group winners are straight into the county quarter finals.

Roinn 1 Group 2: Thurles Sarsfields, Borris-Ileigh
Roinn 1 Group 3: Kiladangan, Mullinahone
Roinn 1 Group 4: Clonoulty-Rossmore, Kilruane MacDonaghs
Roinn 2 Winners: Burgess, Carrick Swans, Loughmore-Castleiney, Ballina

The following clubs are demoted to Roinn 2 for next season
JK Brackens, Roscrea, Templederry, Lorrha

The following clubs are in the relegation play offs with 2 teams going down to Intermediate for 2017(unless they win their divisional championship)
