UNDER 21 FOOTBALL

Club action for 2019 begins this weekend when our under 21 footballers play Drom & Inch in the first round of the mid championship. Throw in at The Ragg is at 2pm on Sunday. Best of luck to the team.

MINOR FOOTBALL

The first round of the mid minor A championship takes place on Sunday Jan 20th at 3pm in the Outside Field in Thurles when we face Na Sairsealaigh Óg

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE GAA AGM

The club AGM has been re-fixed for Saturday Jan 19th in the clubhouse at 8:30pm. All members urged to attend if possible

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE JUVENILE GAA AGM

The AGM of Upperchurch-Drombane Juvenile GAA Club will take place this Saturday evening at 8:00 pm in the clubhouse.

2019 MID GRADINGS

The gradings for the various 2019 championships have been made. We will be entering 8 teams in total. These will be in senior hurling & football, junior A hurling & junior B football, Under 21B hurling & football and minor B hurling & minor A football.

ANNUAL CHARITY RUN/WALK

Huge thanks to all who supported our charity Upperchurch to Drombane run/walk on December 30th. In total €1470 was raised for new stage curtains in Upperchurch Hall. The overall male and female winners were John Fogarty & Madeline Loughnane and the 1st local finishers were Mike Gleeson & Kelley Harrington. Pictures can be found on our facebook page. By popular demand we’re going to go with the same course for 2019 so you’ll be able to compare if you’ve got faster or slower in the intervening 12 months. Most likely date is Sunday December 29th, so put that into your busy race diary now!!
