GAA CLUB MASS

The annual mass for club members will be held this Saturday evening at 7pm in Drombane. There will be tea in the hall straight afterwards.

CELEBRATION NIGHT FOR 1998 INTERMEDIATE TEAM

A celebration will be held in Ned’s pub in Drombane this Sunday 30th December to honour the 20th anniversary of our county intermediate hurling final victory. 1998 saw Upperchurch Drombanedefeat Ballybacon-Grange to return to the senior ranks where we have remained since. On the night medals will also be presented to this years victorious county U21 football champions. All are invited for a great celebration. Proceedings will be begin at 9:30pm. All are welcome.

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE ANNUAL XMAS CHARITY FUNDRAISER

The Upperchurch Drombane GAA annual Xmas charity fundraiser takes place this year on Sunday Dec 30th with the inaugural staging of the Upperchurch Drombane Point-to-Point – one church steeple to the other as per the original point to point race except this time without the equine assistance – It will be an 8km walk or road race from Upperchurch church to Drombane church. The walk starts at 1pm with the run beginning at 1:30pm. This year monies raised will go towards cost of new stage curtains for Upperchurch Hall. This is a facility that has been of great benefit to training of juvenile players for many years so we’re asking for as much support as possible. Adults €10. Kids Free. All support welcome. Will have return transport arranged for visitors but hoping that locals will make their own arrangements.
