UNDER 21 HURLING

Our under 21 hurlers are in action next Sunday Nov 4th in the mid losers group final. They face Boherlahan Dualla at midday in Holycross.

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE’S FITTEST CLUB

Our annual fundraising night at Thurles Greyhound Stadium returns again on Saturday November 17th and in addition to the usual canine entertainment there is a unique competition to find out the fittest club in the parish. Jerry O’Dwyer is busy designing an obstacle course to test the clubs to the fullest. The 8 local clubs competing on the night are:

GAA

Clodiagh Rangers

Cycling Club

Golf Society

Slieve Felim Rapparees

Climbing Wall

Local Farmers

Racquetball Club

Tickets are €15 and this includes admission on the night and also entry to the €500 buster draw. There will also be live music following the racing. Tickets can be bought from players, athletes or committee members.

COUNTY MINOR FOOTBALL

Congratulations to Viv Downey who has been named as a selector on the Tipperary minor football team for 2019. Viv wil join Matt O Doherty, Peter Creedon, Johnny Nevin, James Boland and Jason Coffey on the management team.

UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE ANNUAL XMAS CHARITY FUNDRAISER

The Upperchurch Drombane GAA annual Xmas charity fundraiser takes place this year on Sunday Dec 30th with the inaugural staging of the Upperchurch Drombane Point-to-Point – one church steeple to the other as per the original point to point race except this time without the equine assistance – It will be an 8km walk or road race from Upperchurch church to Drombane church… Get those runners dusted down

CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Membership for the 2018 season is now due and remains unchanged from last years rates. €20 for all players between the ages of 16 to 18. €30 for all players between the ages of 18 to 21. €60 for all players over 21 years of age. €40 for all non playing members irrespective of age. Membership for 2018 can now be paid online on our website: http://www.upperchurchdrombanegaa.ie/members/ Payment can also be given to JJ Kinane or any committee member.
