2025 CLUB OFFICERS
Our AGM was held on December 5th and the following officer roles for 2025 were elected. President: Phil Lowry, Chairman: Jim Ryan, Secretary: Noelette Corbett, Assistant Secretary: Noel Ryan, Treasurer: Richard Ryan, Assistant Treasurer: Tim Ryan, PRO: Martin Bourke, IT Officer: Ailbe O'Donoghue, Registrar: Paul Shanahan, Irish Language & Cultural Officer: Pat Phelan. Remaining positions will be filled at the next committee meeting.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership for adults & juveniles for 2025 is now available for payment either online on www.upperchurchdrombanegaa.ie or via club registrar Paul Shanahan. Adult rates are unchanged on 2024 levels while there have been some small increases in juvenile rates.

SLIEVE FELIM RAPPAREES
Congratulations to Slieve Felim Rapparees on their junior camogie Munster plate victory in Kerry last weekend.

MOHER HILL 7K
Our annual charity fundraiser is back this year on Sunday December 29th with all proceeds from the walk/run going to Tipperary Search & Rescue. Take on the challenging 7km loop, shake off the Christmas excess and help us raise funds for this worthwhile cause by either walking or running the course. The event starts and ends outside Upperchurch Community Centre with the walkers taking off at 12pm while the runners depart at 12:15pm. Fee is €10 for adults while kids are free. UPPERCHURCH CHRISTMAS NIGHT WALK

The Upperchurch Christmas Night Walk will take place on this Sunday 22nd of December at 6:30pm. Registration from 6pm in Upperchurch Community Centre. In lieu of a registration charge, the organisers are asking for donations for St Vincent de Paul. The walk will consist of the Moher road walk of approx 7km with a stop for mulled wine/juice and mince pies followed by a carol service. Refreshments in Upperchurch Community Centre after the walk. All invited to attend.

Thanks to all who have signed up so far to our New Field Benefactor Scheme and we would encourage anyone else to sign up as soon as possible to help us reach our target. To help cover the cost of providing a 2nd full pitch, a juvenile field and the provision of car parking facilities in Drombane we are inviting supporters to become a benefactor. Patrons will be able to support the scheme by bank transfer, subscribing in person with a committee member or payment online via our club website. Despite our recent success in receiving grants this will only partly cover the costs incurred by the development work so your support of the benefactor scheme is much appreciated to help bridge the gap. PREMIER CO-OP LOTTO

You can now play the Premier Co-Op Lotto online at http://upperchurchdrombanegaa.ie/draws and help support Upperchurch Drombane Juvenile GAA. Last week there was no winner of the €6,000 jackpot. There were 2 match 3 winners who receive €75 each. The jackpot for next week now resets to €6,200 Note that the next draw will be on Monday 23rd, and not Tuesday as usual. Tickets must be bought by 8pm to be in the draw. You can also buy tickets at Ryan's Shop, Drombane Co-Op, Pa's Bar, Kinane's Pub or Oliver Ryan's Pub.
