Mid senior football final:

Commiserations to our senior footballers who were beaten by county champions Loughmore Castleiney in the Mid final last Saturday. 

Going in 0-6 to 0-4 down at the break they were in the game until we were reduced to 14 players with a little over ten minutes left on the clock.

After this Loughmore ran out comfortable winniners hitting 0-9 to 0-1 down the home straight and winning 0-17 to 0-7 in the end.

Many thanks to the players for their efforts all year, it was a busy campaign between football and hurling and they have secured senior status in both for 2018. 

Thanks too to the football management team of Conor O Dwyer, Jj Kinane and Vivian Downey for their efforts and also to the hurling management team of John Ryan the Line, John Quinn, coach Seamus Gleeson and backroom members Liam Noonan, Pakie Purcell and Barry Dunne.
